With reference to Your Grace's despatch

2466 5.5. No.67 of the 16th of March, I have the honour to enclose

copies of a letter from Marconi's Representative with regard to the erection of a high power wireless telegraph station in Hongkong.

I shall be glad to learn whether I may assume that there would be no objection to this Goverment making some agreement with the Marconi Company for the erection of such a station, and if so whether Your Grace can furnish any information to guide this Government in deciding as to the form which such agreement might best take.

I have the honour to be,

My Lord Duke,

Your Grace's most obedient

humble servant,

7. E. Stubbe

Governor, &c.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE

THE DUKE OF DEVONSHIRE, K.G.,
